How the room is put together

Every Look ends with Design Notes: an anatomy of the scene, piece by piece — what each object is made of, why it sits where it does and what to look for if you want the same effect. The scenes are illustrative concepts, not photographs of real homes, and the notes describe only what an editor has confirmed is actually in the image.
